PVR PICNIC AT DEAD HORSE RANCH STATE PARK

Saturday‎, ‎September‎ ‎22‎, ‎2018
‎9‎:‎00‎ ‎AM to ‎7‎:‎00‎ ‎PM

Dead Horse Ranch State Park
Cottonwood Phoenix, AZ

As voted on, PVR will be hosting a Picnic at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, this September 22nd. This Picnic is for all members and their families...... This is a beautiful park with all the amenities close by. You can even get some fishing in. If you've never been to this park, you have a surprise waiting for you. Now..... we need a few people to step up and volunteer. We need a set up crew, and someone to do the cooking. We aren't looking for a 5 star chef, just some one to man the grill for some hot dogs, hot links and burgers. I'll make sure all the shopping gets done, what I need to know if we want anything special, ie cake, cookies, anything particular we may want. There is a $7:00 per vehicle entrance fee, but with the $65.00 Ramada cost, we get two free passes, so I'm sure we'll have no problems giving those to who drives to the park with the supplies. So, if I forgot anything, please get with me. One other thing.... I need a Good Head Count asap. Our shoppers did an excellent job for our last picnic, Dana Jackson and Kathleen Rose, I'm hoping I can get them to do it again. So I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with you and your families. Here are directions to the park. Anyway you choose to come.. just make sure you come. https://goo.gl/maps/SxQ5uu3L2Fo
Or if you want to come up the back way, or want to avoid the I-17:

PVR August 2018 PVR Ride Of The Month
‎Saturday‎, ‎August‎ ‎04‎, ‎2018
‎6‎:‎00‎ ‎AM to ‎12‎:‎00‎ ‎PM
Village Inn
575 Apache Trail 575 Apache Trail Apache Junction, az
The ride for the month of August will another "beat the heat" ride. Our attempt to get some good miles in, and back in front of our Air conditioners before the heat of the day. Again, we will arrive at the sponsor's location at the end of the ride. We will start at Village Inn for breakfast, get our miles in then stop at Arizona Kawasaki, on our way homes. We will leave Village Inn, and head out to Winkleman, then drop down to Globe, before hitting Arizona Kawasaki. One special thing we will get done is stop by the Globe Fire station, and give them the donation we've been forgetting to drop off for the past few months.
Also arrive early if you be having breakfast. Kick stand up will be 7:00am Arrive fueled up and ready to go.
This is the route we will be taking.

Time To Clean The Highway.... July 14th

Saturday‎, ‎July‎ ‎14‎, ‎2018
‎6‎:‎00‎ ‎AM to ‎9‎:‎00‎ ‎AM

Village Inn
575 Apache Trail 575 Apache Trail Apache Junction, az

This morning (July 7th) we had 6 members say they were good for this date. It would be good if we had two or more members that could join us. We also chose this early time to get the job done and back in front of our Air Conditioners before heat of the day. Remember Kick Stands Up at 6:00 am. So arrive extra early if you plan on having breakfast. And as always, arrive fueled and ready to go. I will keep a close eye on the weather just in case. For those of you that don't know, our Mile of Highway is in Miami Az. about 50 miles from the restaurant. It normally takes 45 minuets to one hour to complete. What to bring: If you don't have one Harbor Freight has pickers for less then $5.00

As voted on in our last Quarterly Meeting, this is going to be a "Reverse Ride, ending at the Sponsors Location. We'll be meeting for breakfast at Crackers & Co.1285 W Elliot Rd Tempe,, then hearing to Adrenaline Motorsports. Some may want to do a Old Skool "After the Ride" but for those that don't want to deal with the 108+ heat expected, want to get out of the heat by mid day.  And like always, Please arrive fueled up ready to ride after breakfast.

PVR Ride For the Month Of June 2018

‎Saturday‎, ‎May‎ ‎12‎, ‎2018
‎9‎:‎00‎ ‎AM to ‎5‎:‎00‎ ‎PM

As voted on, he have decided to try something a little different this Month.
For one, this months ride will be the second weekend of the month. The other thing, we are packing our lunches with us, and finding a spot on route to have lunch.
This is something several have mentioned in the past, I guess it time we did it.
The departing location will be Kelly's Kawasaki, and as for now, will be departing at 9:00am. After a short meeting.(depending what time Kelly's opens that morning)
So, lets give this new ride format a try.
As always, please arrive with a full tank ready to roll....
